The decision on the structure of the tournament for D will be determined mid-day based on weather forecasts among the options emailed to managers.

All rules are in accordance with USA Softball slow pitch, with the following emphases and modifications:

• Courtesy runners must follow USA Softball 2025 rules.
• All at-bats begin with a 1-1 count.
• ADA players must be declared in advance and approved by the league.
• Bats must be stamped with USA softball approved.
• No new inning after 55 minutes.
• Go over ground rules before the game starts to determine dead ball territory.
• On fields 20 and 21, the outfield fence is 275 feet.  Anything over the fence is an automatic ground rule double and there are no limits on the number of balls that can go over the fence.

Seeds will be based on Win-Loss records.  In the event of a tie, the following order will be followed for tie breaks:

1. Run differential
2. Total runs scored
3. Total runs allowed
4. Coin toss

Central Park HECKSCHER PLAYGROUND & RANDALL'S ISLAND (Saturday)

Heckscher Playground is in the heart of southern Central Park.  Note that Heckscher Playground is an opt-in due to using clincher softballs.

• Heckscher Ballfields are accessible via the 59 St/Columbus Circle station on the (A)/(C) (D) or (1) trains (enter at W 85th St) or via  57 St/7Av station on the (N)/(Q)/(R) trains. 

Randall's Island Sunken Meadow (Sunday)

We will be at the Sunken Meadows Complex for Gotham on Randall's Island for Sunday's tournaments. 

Randall's Island is best accessed by ride-share.  You can enter 35 Central Road, New York, NY to be dropped off on the perimeter of Sunken Meadow. 

If you elect for mass transit, the M35 bus departs from E 125th St & Lexington Ave (here) every 20 minutes.  To get to E 125th St & Lexington Ave, take the (4) (5) or (6) to 125th St and you will be on that corner.  Otherwise, take the (1) (2) (3) (A) (C) (D) trains to 125th St and take the M101 (towards the Lower East Side), M125 (towards The Hub in the Bronx), or M60-SBS (towards La Guardia Airport) buses and get off at Lexington Avenue.
