About The Draft

Draft Days exists to ensure that new players are assigned to divisions based on skill level. Every player at the draft hits and fields to show their softball experience level. Don't worry if you've never played softball before we have leagues for the most competitive players to purely recreational players and everything in between.

Drafts happen over two weekends in the early spring, just before our season starts. Check back around then to get more information about when and where the BASL draft will happen.

Can't Make a Draft Day?

While your best chance of making a team are at the Draft Days. Needs for players always come up with teams even after all the players have been drafts. If you cannot make a draft day please contact Khris and he will ask you a few questions about your softball experience before putting you on the proper waitlist for your skill-level. If a coach picks you up he or she will be in contact with you.
